He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse W. Ard and Velma Todd Ard; and his siblings, Michael Ard, Jesse James "Sonny" Ard, Wilson Ard, Brenda and Mary Alice.
He is survived by: his wife Janice Ard; his children, Chris Ard, Ryan Ard and Kim Cooper; and his siblings, Charles Ard of Loris, Tammy Roberts (Kenny) of Aynor and Joanne Hollifield (Grady) of High Point, NC. He is also survived by four grandchildren and many other family and friends.
