It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Melanie Johnston Chavis (Conway, South Carolina), who passed away on April 28, 2020, at the age of 51, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Delores Hughes Johnston and Ernest W. Johnston, Jr.; her sons, Johnston Long and Hughes Long; her siblings, Woody Johnston (Marie), Cynthia Johnston Cannon and Mary Altman (Mike); and her grandchildren, Hayden and Brenton Long.

Due to the COVID-19 a private graveside service will be held, Friday May 1, 2020, at Antioch United Methodist Church Cemetery.
