She was predeceased by: her parents, Woodrow "Woody" Phillips and Mable Mishoe Holloway; her son Kareem Gause; and her siblings, Henry L. Mishoe, Edward L. Mishoe, James Mishoe, Norman Mishoe, Agnes Gause, Margaret Sumpter, Retha Terry and Pearl Patterson.
She is survived by: her daughter Narissia Skinner (Keith); her grandsons, Montel Gause of Killeen and Keishon Skinner; her sisters, Lula Nelson, Mildred McCray, Helen Hunt (Dock) of Bucksport, Jessie Graham (Lonzell) of Greenville and Betty Jones (Arthur) of Maryland; her sisters-in-law, Gwendolyn "Sally" Mishoe of Bucksport and Reiko Mishoe of New York; and her close friend Tony Hicks. She is also survived by relatives, and loyal friends that include several former co-workers.
