She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Asa Clark White and Idell Ward White; her sister Beulah Maynard of Elizabethtown, NC; her children, Phillis Newman (Herb), Danny Thompson (Michelle), Tresia Thompson and John Thompson; and her grandchildren, Tonio Gant Jr., Alexa Reames (Davis), Melissa Carter (Chris), Sarah Popov, April Thompson, Christine Thompson and Bridget Whiteside (Marshall). She was also cherished by ten great grandchildren.
As her spirit now resides with Jesus her savior, she will be buried at the White family graveyard in Bladenboro, N. C with only her immediate family at graveside due to the current pandemic.
