It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Loretta Nelson (Conway, South Carolina), born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania, who passed away on May 31, 2019, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles E. Murray and Emily Smeal Murray; her husband Carl A. Nelson; and her daughter Kimberly Ann Carney. She is survived by: her son Carl A. Nelson (Kit) of Myrtle Beach, SC; her grandchildren, Hansel Nelson of Myrtle Beach, SC, Adi Nelson (Sarah) of Myrtle Beach, SC, Tim Carney (Mandy) of Charlotte, NC, Bryan Carney (Crystal) of Concord, NC, Jenny Calhoun (Darryl) of Charlotte, NC, Randy Watkins (Claire) of Goldsboro, NC and Brad Watkins (Amanda) of Japan; and her son-in-law Patrick Carney (Suzanne) of Charlotte, NC. She is also survived by eleven great-grandchildren.
