He was predeceased by: his parents, Donald Lantham Burroughs and Sibyllae L. Hughes Burroughs; and his brother Donald McNeil Burroughs. He is survived by: his wife Joyce Burroughs; his children, Donald Lloyd Burroughs of Conway, James Grantham Burroughs of Murrells Inlet, Deborah Ann Burroughs of Murrells Inlet and Georgia Gail Burroughs of Murrells Inlet; his grandchildren, Clairissa Joyce Burroughs and Elise Azalea Burroughs; and his sister Janet Burroughs Vinson.
