He was predeceased by: his parents, Leo Sherman and Mary Green Sherman; and his siblings, Berlene Norman and Jonathan Sherman. He is survived by: his children, Juliette "Debbie" Escobar (Randy) of Katy and Leron Taylor of Cincinnati, Ohio; his grandchildren, Jasmine Gibson of Katy, Jahaad Fisher of Fort Lauderdale, Josef Campbell of New Jersey, Alexzia Taylor, Khan Taylor and Charleroi Taylor of Cincinnati, Ohio; his brothers, Levern Sherman (Lois), Larry Sherman of Charlotte, Lefogran Sherman (Dorothy), Lloyd Sherman (Lindell) of Conway, Lewellyn Sherman (Patricia) of Fayetteville and Jeffery Sherman (Evelyn) of Conway; his close friend Rosa Stanley; and also Warren "Freddy" Johnson of Conway. He is also survived by seven great-grandchildren.
Viewing was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Ocean View Funeral Home (1207 Grainger Rd, Conway, SC 29527). A funeral service was held on Sunday, November 10th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Mercy Baptist Church (2805 4th Ave, Conway, SC 29527).
