He is survived by: his daughter Melissa Hughes of Galivants Ferry, SC; and his siblings, Rex Thompson (Wanda) of Tabor City, NC, Ricky Thompson of Longs, SC, Don Thompson (Dianne) of Longs, SC and Judy Neilson of Charlotte, NC.
