He was predeceased by: his sister Linda Lainey. He is survived by: his parents, Harold Lainey and Jeanne Lainey of Presque Isle; his wife Elaine Breen Lainey; his grandchildren, Oliviya, Addison, Ayden and Ethan; his siblings, Rena Carlin (Scott) of Mapleton and Dan Lainey (Jennifer) of Yarmouth; and also, Peter Lainey (Christi) and Lynda Lainey. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
