He was predeceased by: his parents, Earl Erb and Cora Landis Erb; his sister Peggy McEllehenn; his stepdaughter Vickie Elders of Atlanta, GA; and his grandson Adrian Elders of Conway.

He is survived by: his wife Dorothy "Dot" Walking Erb of Conway; his children, Thomas Patrick Erb (Amanda) of Epharta, PA, Alan Elders (Ketty) of Conway and Heather Rollman (Denny) of Epharta, PA; his siblings, Glenn Erb (Nancy), Willis "Bill" Erb (Rebecca), Galen Erb (Marge), David Erb (Marie), Marion Rhodes (Rod) and Susie Dillick; and his pets, Katy and Ariel. He is also survived by thirteen grandchildren; four great grandchildren.
