He was predeceased by: his parents, Verna Cooper Causey and Theo Causey; his wife Nancy Jones Causey; and his brother Ray Causey. He is survived by: his children, Clay Causey and Ashley Proctor (John); his niece Tracy Brown (Joe); his nephew Mark Beverly; his grandchildren, Briggs Causey, Cameron Causey, Kinley Knox Proctor and Jones Clemson Proctor; and his siblings, Anne Beverly and Lindsey Causey (Phyllis). He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
