He was predeceased by: his parents, James Blease Bourne and Ruby Towles Bourne of Conway; and his siblings, Ann Melton, Carol "Dee" Derbin and James "Tom" Bourne.

He is survived by: his wife Bonnie Parisi Bourne of Conway; his nieces, Julie Melton of Murrells Inlet and Tracy Derbin; his great-nieces, Kate Evans of Myrtle Beach, Madi Evans of Murrells Inlet, Kylee Newton and Sally Newton; and also Eli Toomer of Myrtle Beach.

A graveside service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Hillcrest Cemetery (1000 SC-544, Conway, SC 29526). A reception was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 3:00 PM.
