He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward M. Baptista and Adeline F. Doucette Baptista; and his brother Edward Baptista. He is survived by: his wife Elizabeth Cribb Baptista; his children, Joanne Lowitt (Joel) of Hudson, OH, John H. Baptista, Jr. (Christy) of Woonsocket, RI and Janice L. Baptista of Pawtucket, RI; his stepsons, Mark W. Moore (Patricia) and Matthew W. Moore (Kimberly); his grandchildren, Matthew Lowitt and Loryn Perry; and his stepgrandsons, Mark W. Moore, Jr., Edward Moore and Mitchell Moore. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and other extended family.
