He was predeceased by : his parents, Dandridge Cockrell and Retha Cockrell; his wife Jacqueline Ann Cockrell; and his siblings, Dandridge Addison Cockrell, Jr., William George Cockrell, Ruby Marie Crabbe and Doris Helen Hall.
He is survived by : his children, Eric Addison Cockrell (Rebecca) of Charlotte, NC, Geoffrey James Cockrell (Janice Williams) of Conway and Ann Marie Cockrell of Columbia; and his grandchildren, Geoffrey Cade McConnell, Annabela Jean Cockrell, Joseph Addison Cockrell and Paul Grafton Cockrell.
