With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Jewel Helen Dozier Dew (Conway, South Carolina), born in Ozone Park, New York, who passed away on March 16, 2020 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Grady Dozier and Mary Schaffer Dozier; her husband Richard Francis Dew, Sr.; her siblings, Grady "Sonny" Dozier, Allen Dozier (Carol) and Peggy "Pete" Smith; her stepsister Mickie Still; and her stepmother Violet Dozier.
She is survived by: her sons, Richard Francis Dew, Jr. of Conway, Hal Timothy "Tim" Dew of Conway, Joseph Robert "Bobby" Dew of Conway, Michael Hatchell and Huey Hatchell; her grandsons, Richard Francis Dew, III and Stephen Anderson Dew; her siblings, Grace Parrott, Lilly Mae Poston (Randall), George Dozier (Kathy) and William B. Dozier (Debbie); and her stepsisters, Rose Joyner and Elaine Sanders. She is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, other extended family, and friends.
