He is survived by: his parent Ila Mae Hyman Hardwick; his wife Pearl B. Hardwick of Conway; his children, Thad Jeffrey Hardwick (Katherine) of Myrtle Beach and Elwanda Stein (Brad) of Clearwater, FL; his grandchildren, Natalie Hardwick, Jana Stein Vrettos (Louie) and Brent Stein (Casey); his great grandchildren, Stella Vrettos, Bradley Stein, Sophie Vrettos, Serafina Vrettos and Addison Stein; and his siblings, Edgar Hardwick, Sam Hardwick and Nancy Squires of Goose Creek.
