He was predeceased by: his parents, William G. Suggs and Beatrice King Suggs; and his brother Jerry Suggs. He is survived by: his wife Linda Cook Suggs; his sons, James Bryan Suggs (Amanda) of Conway and Michael Gary Suggs of Conway; his siblings, Morris Suggs of Murrells Inlet, Levi Suggs of Conway and Carol Gaido; and his grandchildren, Valerie and Nathan Suggs.
