He was predeceased by: his parents, James Wilson and Helen Gay Dorsey; and his brothers, Wayne Dorsey and Randy Dorsey. He is survived by: his children, James Michael Dorsey, Jr. (Brooke) of Raleigh and Denise Dorsey Worley (Wayne) of Princeton; his grandchildren, Darren Dorsey and Greyson Dorsey; and his sisters, Connie Brown of Pine Level and Debbie Mullen (Kenneth) of Rocky Mount.
