He is survived by: his wife Octavia Mincey; his children, Tony Mincey (Kathy) of North Carolina, Christian Byers (Gail) of Stewart Florida, Larry Mincey of Conway, Samuel Lee of Conway, Naomi Thompkins (Kenny) of Myrtle Beach and Samantha Riley (Rob) of Myrtle Beach; his grandchildren, Krista Mincey, Adam Mincey, Jason Smith, Tyler Byers, Christian Byers, Jr., Michael Byers, Austin Byers, Hunter Riley, Hayden Riley, Landon Mincey and Mitchell Lutton; his great grandchildren, Kaylin and Colt; his siblings, Bill Causey (Judy) of Longs and Doris Renau of Virginia; and his half-sister Ginger Stophens of Wilmington, NC..
