It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elise Ethel Chestnut (Conway, South Carolina), who passed away on February 1, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her spouse Lonnie Mitchell Chestnut, Sr. of Hwy; her parents, Willie J. Watts and Floy "Soy" Holmes Watts; her son Lonnie Macklen Chestnut; and her grandson Lenwood Chestnut, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, Lenwood Chestnut (Lois), Mitchell Chestnut, Jr. (Pam) of Conway and Barbara Cox (Hoyt) of Conway; her grandchildren, Dave Cox (Dana), Stacie Anderson (Bryan) and Sammie Jo Branton (Evan); her great grandchildren, Colby Chestnut, Briana Cox, Harrison Cox, McKayla Anderson, Kylie Anderson, Reece Branton, Charli Branton and Blayk Lynn Branton; her sister Willene Tucker of Indian Trail, NC; and her granddaughter-in-law Sherry Chestnut of Conway.
