She is survived by: her sister Shirley Powell of Conway, SC; her daughters, Laurie Thompson Vinson (Art) and Lois Thompson Whitman (Gary); and her grandchildren, Jonathan (Devin), Phillip (Katie), Alexandra, Nancy (John), Allison (Samuel), Adrienne (James), James Candler and Paul. She is also survived by eight great grandchildren.
