He was predeceased by: his parents, Bennie Cooper Goff and Sadie Moore Goff; and his wife Ayako Goff. He is survived by: his children, William T. Goff (Judy) of Conway, Linda Gail Sproles (Stephen) of Moore, SC, Audrey G. Skipper of Lexington, SC and Trudy Edwards (Deryl) of Forest, VA; his grandchildren, Shannon Kukulka (Steven), Jeremy Hardwick, Hillary Goff (Phil Ellis), Joel K. Skipper, Brandon Goff (Haylee), Bethany Delk (Brandon), Kristin S. Cole (Brian) and Joshua Roberts (Christa); and his siblings, Marie Smith and Cooper Goff.
