He was predeceased by: his parents, Willie Mae Dixon and Calden Benford; and his sibling Colden Benford Dixon (Wendilyn). He is survived by: his wife Melinda Green Benford of Longs, SC; his children, Min, Wesley Green (Shumein), Comaneci Green and Rashawn Eady (Jaleel); his grandchildren, Elijah Green, Elannah Green, Lavonte Stanley (Deceased), Ayanna Green, Nyasia McKenzie, Ethan Davis and Ameerah Eady; and his sisters, Sandra Waters and Crystal Greene. He is also survived by nieces and nephews and loving relatives.
