He is survived by: his wife Peggy Porter Chestnut; his children, Stephan Chestnut (Melissa) and Stephanie Johnson (James); his grandchildren, Henry Monroe (Anna), Robert Johnson, Kayla Singleton (Randy), Megan Kaiser (Kevin), Heather Wood (Anthony) and Reed Chestnut; his great grandchildren, Brantley Wood, Karsen Kaiser, Kristen Kaiser, Paxton Wood, Kaylee Singleton and Payton Singleton; and his sister Sonya Chestnut (Roger).
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Bethlehem Baptist Church (5201 SC-905, Conway, SC 29526). A memorial service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
