He is survived by: his wife Darlene Suggs Benton; his children, Wesley Carl Benton of Newberry, Corey Matthew Benton of Newberry and Andrea Nicole Benton (John) of Conway, SC; his grandchildren, Hunter Matthew Benton, Michael Matthew Benton and Rhyan Knowles; and his siblings, Mary Cannon and Keith A. Benton, Sr. (Sheila). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:50 PM at the Goldfinch Funeral Home, Conway Chapel (606 Beaty St, Conway, SC 29526). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 26th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
