He was predeceased by: his wife Frances Marian Powell Hardwick; his brother Henry Myles Hardwick; and his niece Libby Hendrick Stroman. He is survived by: his children, Julie Ann Hardwick and Jeffrey Bryce Hardwick; his nephew Greggory Myles Hardwick (Kathy); and his nieces, Karen Hardwick Shelley (Windell Shelley), Sallye Elizabeth Brown Prince (E. E. Prince, Jr.), Linda Powell Hendrick and Betty Jane Hendrick Coggeshall (William Coggehshall).
