He was predeceased by: his parents, William Herbert Williams and Violet Ruth Walton; his son William Herbert Williams; and his siblings, D. C., Jr., Cecil, Owen, Orvis, Paul Williams and Ruth.

He is survived by: his wife Helen Joann Williams; and his children, Cecilia K. Mills (Randy) of Fayetteville, NC, Dianne Williams Bonner of Fayetteville, NC, William Joseph Wood (Lejean) of Conway, Terry Richard Wood (Trina) and Anthony Daron Wood (Tammy) of Conway.
