He was predeceased by: his parents, Emory Lee and Getha Wallace Skipper; his wife Janice E. Skipper; and his siblings, Joseph Skipper, Richard Skipper, Sammy Skipper, Grace Johnson and Christine Lewis.

He is survived by: his children, Kevin N. Skipper Skipper (Tonya) of Murrells Inlet, Scott Skipper of Conway, Sharon Boyd (Rick) of Conway, Rose Shaw (Bill) of Conway and Karen Roberts (William) of Galivants Ferry; his grandchildren, Bridget Watson (Derrick), Jason Jordan, Jessica Roberts Williams (Addison), Holly Skipper and Hannah Skipper; his stepgranddaughters, Nichole Boyd Clemmons (Kevin) and Amanda Boyd; his great grandchildren, Bailey Jordan, Gabriel Jordan and Hunter Watson; his stepgreat-grandchildren, Nick Mincey, Nolan Anderson, Corbin Clemmons, Nicholas Clemmons, Nate Clemmons and Adalynn Williams; his siblings, Payne Skipper (Gayle) of Galivants Ferry, Parma Lee Skipper (Virginia) of Kansas City, Kansas, Mary Squires-Partlow (Mark) of Galivants Ferry and Wanda Jenerette of Galivants Ferry; his sisters-in-law, Wilmina Skipper of Conway, Corlous Skipper of Galivants Ferry and Geraldine Skipper of Galivants Ferry; and his caregiver Leon Myers. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
