He was predeceased by: his parents, Benjamin Franklin Howell, Sr. and Rachel Isabelle McAulay Howell. He is survived by: his wife Betty Howell of Conway; his children, Drew Howell (Tricia) of Columbia, SC, Christy Byrd (Glenn) of Columbia, SC and Traci Salley (Eddie) of Conway; and his grandchildren, Stephanie, Brittany, Rachel, Andrew, Auburn and Rebecca. He is also survived by six great grandchildren.
