She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Burke and Louise Nary; and her brother Lawrence Burke. She is survived by: her husband Frank Varvaro; her children, Dona Palmer of Odenton, MD and Steven Varvaro (Lorie) of Conway, SC.; her grandchildren, Cristie Varvaro, Nicholas Palmer (Shannon), Kimberly Krug (Nate) and Leslie Varvaro; and her great grandchildren, Dylan Carter, John Krug and Morgan Palmer.
