She was predeceased by: her parents, Ruben Govan Carter and Louise Pope Carter; her husband George W. Jordan, Jr.; her son George "Tripp" Jordan, III; and her brother Don Carter.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Jordan (Dina), Julie Jordan and Chrysti Watford (Jay); her grandchildren, Bobby Watford (Graciela), Cameron Watford, Jenna Swindler (Adam), Jordan Richardson, Will Richardson, Kristen Richardson and Trey Jordan; and her sister Gloria C. Braxton. She is also survived by six great-grandchildren.
