She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Marion Grainger and Anna Marian Long Grainger; her husband Hubert Gene Thompkins; and her brothers, Kenny Grainger and Rusty Grainger.
She is survived by: her sons, Charles "Charlie" Grainger (Diane) and Andrew Proctor (Sam); her stepchildren, Sunaco Thompkins and Wendell Thompkins (Danielle); her grandchildren, David Grainger (Lydia), Matthew Grainger, Alec DiRoma and Kassie DiRoma; her great grandchild Iverson Grainger; her niece Olivia Posey (Travis); her great-nieces, Caroline Posey and Amelia "Millie Bug" Grainger; her great-nephew Eli Posey; and her sister-in-law Phyllis Grainger.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Hardwick Funeral Home (4831 Main St, Loris, SC 29569). A funeral service will be held on Monday, February 24th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Hardwick Memorial Chapel (4831 Main St, Loris, SC 29569).
