With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Alston Chestnut (Conway, South Carolina), whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. She was predeceased by: her husband J. Hoyt Chestnut; her daughters, Eva Chestnut and Marilyn Gause; and her grandchild Jamie Benton. She is survived by: her daughter Doris Gaskin (Lowell) of Rock Hill, SC; and her grandchildren, Kevin Gause (Candice) of Loris, SC, Tiffany Gause (Leigh Ann) of Santa Ana, CA, Cathy Tyler (Danny) of Conway, SC, Christina Davis (John) of Rock Hill, SC and Jeanie Dickinson (Dave) of Concord, NC. She is also survived by thirteen great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.
