It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Alberta W. Long (Conway, South Carolina), who passed away on October 7, 2018, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Willie James Watts and Floy Mae Belle Holmes; her siblings, Marvin, Isaac, George, Will Watts, Brookie Stalvey, Annie Hardee and Virgie James; her daughter Karen Long Ard; and her great grandchild Daniel Gavin Long.
She is survived by: her child Daphne Jo Long; her son-in-law James "Danny" Ard; her sisters, Elise Chestnut and Willane Tucker; her grandchildren, Keith Long (Jennifer), Matthew Ard (Christa) and Jennifer Shantie; and her great grandchildren, Alexis Shantie, Lily Long, Meshell Long, Ryan Ard, Landon Ard and Kylie Skipper.
