She was predeceased by: her parents, J. K. Bagwell and Lucille Bagwell; her former husband Truman Melton; and her sister Tavia. She is survived by: her children, Frances, Mike Melton (Kathy) of Shelby, NC, Scott Melton of Spartanburg, SC and Mickie Williams (Brian) of Spartanburg, SC; her stepdaughter Marie Bishop (Jerry); her grandchildren, Trey Earley (Molly) of Chesnee, SC and Amanda Melton of Charlotte, NC; and her stepgrandchildren, Meagan Williams and Ashlyn Bishop.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Mark Methodist Church, 3055 E. Main St., Spartanburg, SC 29307.
