Ruth Delores Mize Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ruth Delores Mize of Conestee, South Carolina, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 10, 2025. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
As we bid Ruth Delores farewell, let us not mourn the absence of her physical form, but rather celebrate the essence of her spirit that lingers in the spaces between moments. For Ruth Delores is not truly gone, but merely transformed, her energy intertwined with the fabric of the universe itself, forever dancing among the stars.
She was predeceased by: her husband Rudolph Mize; her mother Mamie White Harrison; and her son-in-law Donald Harold Bright. She is survived by: her children, Sharon Bright, Monte Mize (Tammy), Timothy Mize (Suzanne) and Stacey Mobley (Gary C. Jr.). She is also survived by eight grandchildren, seventeen great-grandchildren, and two great-great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 12:30 PM at the First Baptist Church (145 2nd St, Conestee, SC 29636). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, April 15th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
