He was predeceased by: his parents, Sarah Locke and Pete Locke; and his brothers, Barry and Nelson Locke. He is survived by: his wife Henrietta Smith of Columbia, SC; his children, Sidney S. Locke Jr. (Anna Tisdale Locke) and Kelley Locke Poles (Ryan Michael Poles); and his grandchildren, Ella Kathleen, Jackson Sayle and Camden Elisabeth Poles.
