She was predeceased by: her parents, Robert Brockman and Clara Brockman; her brother Richard Brockman; and her husband Donnie Thornton. She is survived by: her daughters, Heather Sawyer (Corky) and Jessica Davis (James); her grandchildren, Tristan Hill (Hannah), Tanner Elyard (Justin), Caleb Sawyer (Caitlin) and Hunter Sawyer (Roxanne); and her great grandchildren, Tristan, Hannah, Amelia, Brynliegh and Madelyn.
Visitation was held on Friday, September 27th 2024 from 5:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Thompson Funeral Home (845 Leesburg Rd, Columbia, SC 29209). A graveside service was held on Saturday, September 28th 2024 at 11:00 AM at the Faith Baptist Cemetery (1339 State Rd S-40-2414, Eastover, SC 29044).
