We are sad to announce that on April 12, 2025, at the age of 73, Robert Maddison Birchmore (Columbia, South Carolina) passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Loris Maddison Birchmore and Flossie Irene Keisler; his wife Audrey Weems Birchmore; and his siblings, Edith Laster (Don), Mattie Bryant, Lois Thompson, Johnnie and Albert Birchmore.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Vera "Betty" Edwards (Cleve) and William "Bill" Jones (Donya); his siblings, William "Birley" Birchmore, Patricia, MeLissa "Lissa" and Laurie Birchmore; and his grandchildren, Drew, Michelle, Casey, Haley, Taylor, Ryan and Chandler.
A graveside service will be held on Saturday, April 26th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Elmwood Cemetery (501 Elmwood Ave, Columbia, SC 29201).
