Paul John Sozzi Obituary

It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Paul John Sozzi of Columbia, South Carolina, who passed away on March 18, 2025, at the age of 84, leaving to mourn family and friends. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Paul John Sozzi to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Ettore Sozzi and Clara Masini Sozzi; and his siblings, Anna, Piera, Laura, Piero and Giovanni.

He is survived by: his wife Caroline Lumpkin Sozzi; his children, John Sozzi (Katy) of Charlotte, NC and Caroline Kinney (Matthew) of Athens, GA.; his grandchildren, Sally, Maggie Sozzi, Caroline and John Kinney; his siblings, Fabio Sozzi (Graziella) and Maria Sozzi; his brother-in-law John Lumpkin (Emily); and also Georgetown Lumpkin.

Visitation was held on Thursday, March 27th 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Pine Tree Hunt Club (7601 Hunt Club Rd, Columbia, SC 29223).
