It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Noel Johnson Waldrop (Columbia, South Carolina), who passed away on December 24, 2024, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Casey Johnson and Virginia Banks Johnson; and her friends, Saundra Rhodes, Mary Mungo and L. Bishop.

She is survived by: her children, Sherri Murdock (Randy), Janice Shull (Wyman) and Charles "Chad" Waldrop, Jr. (Connie); her grandchildren, Will Murdock Jr. (Brittany), Brittney Kerstan (Jacob), Austin Shull (Michelle), Morgan Lauster (Matt), Sydney Taske (Andrew), Chandler Cox (Braden), Cole Murdock (Taylor), Charles Waldrop III, Jake Shull (Rachel), Trent Shull (Lynsee) and Cade Waldrop; her nieces and nephews, Scottie, Ashley (Andy), Cullen and Banks; and also, Peggy Riddle, Lessie Simmons and William "Mac" Johnson (Regina). She is also survived by six great grandchildren.

Visitation was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Temples-Halloran Funeral Home (5400 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212). A funeral service was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Sunday, December 29th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Bush River Memorial Gardens (5400 Bush River Rd, Columbia, SC 29212).
