It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Minister Melvin Sapp of Columbia, South Carolina, born in Opelika, Alabama, who passed away on April 24, 2021, at the age of 62, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was loved and cherished by many people including: his wife Frances Reid Sapp; his children, Xavier Sapp (Alicia) and Candace Sapp; his grandchild Makyla Sapp; his parent Elizabeth Parham (late Floyd); and his siblings, William Sapp, Vivian Oats (late Arthur) and Jackie Sapp. He was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and other relatives as well as a multitude of friends.
