She was predeceased by: her parents, Roosevelt Bland and Josephine Miles Bland; and her son Roland Dirks. She is survived by: her husband Ronald L. Dirks; her son Brian C. Dirks (Tanisha); her granddaughters, Sophia Rose Dirks, Paloma Raye Dirks and Norah Rayne Dirks; and her sisters-in-law, Erma King, Renee Battle (late Larry), Cassie Dukes (Marcellus) and Diane Dirks (late Eugene). She is also survived by other relatives and friends.
