She was predeceased by: her parents, Perry Carter Ellis and Iris Gerladine Lakin Ellis; her husband Michael Messer; her son John Lockwood Glenn, IV; her sister Sharon Celeste McDuffie; and her brother-in-law John Michael Bender.
She is survived by: her grandson John Michael Glenn of Columbia; and her sister Candace Ann Bender of Cayce.
Visitation was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 9:00 AM at the Shives Funeral Home, Trenholm Road Chapel (7600 Trenholm Rd Ext, Columbia, SC 29223). A funeral service was held on Saturday, November 9th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
