He was predeceased by: his parents, Vern Tsouprake and Bill Gladden; and his sister Dianne Fitzpatrick. He is survived by: his wife Gail Gladden; his children, Mark Gladden (Gwen) and Carey Blizzard; his grandchildren, Brittani Gladden, Calli Gladden and Logan Blizzard; and his siblings, David Gladden, Jackie Glew and Debbie Mcguire. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Visitation was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 12:00 PM at the St. Luke Lutheran Church (1127 Olympia Ave, Columbia, SC 29201). A funeral service was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 1:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, November 8th 2024 at 3:00 PM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
