He was predeceased by: his parents, Alfred Smith and Katharine Smith; his father-in-law Jack; and his siblings-in-law, Carol Gage and Richmond Gage.
He is survived by: his wife Rebecca Stone; and his siblings-in-law, John Stone (Laura), Bill Stone (Jana) and Alison (Al). He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
