He is survived by: his daughter Dawnalia Ross Smith; his granddaughter Renee Smith; his great grandchildren, Major Smoot, Isaac Smoot and Jaxson Smoot; his nieces and nephews, Jonathan "Eddie" Ross, Dewey Ross, Colette Ross and Sheryl Ross Ely (Wendell); his close friends, Sally Brown and Carl; and his friends, Trish and Tony. He is also survived by great-nieces, great-nephews, cousins.
