It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Larry Eugene Kirchner (Columbia, South Carolina), born in Paris, Illinois, who passed away on September 24, 2024, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, William Donald Kirchner and Juanita Ruth Jones Kirchner; and his daughter Krista Kirchner Zakrzewski. He is survived by: his wife Leanita Wolfe Kirchner; his children, Cathlyn McGuire (Melissa), Eric Kirchner (Josephina), Chris Kirchner (Ar'Triel), Angela Nicklasson and Kent Kirchner; and his siblings, Nancy Johnson and Michael Kirchner. He is also survived by 8 grandchildren and 5 great-grandsons.

A funeral service will be held on Monday, September 30th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Fort Jackson National Cemetery (4170 Percival Rd, Columbia, SC 29229).
