He was predeceased by: his parents, John A. Stroman and Lousise Busby Stroman; his wife Jeanette H. Stroman; and his siblings, Clifford Stroman and Rosa Lee Donaldson.
He is survived by: his children, Jimmie Howard (Mary) of South Carolina, Anthony Stroman (Stephanie) of South Carolina, Larry Stroman of South Carolina, John Edward Stroman (Kim) of South Carolina, Mary Stroman-McGregor of South Carolina, Tosha Stroman-Thompson of North Carolina and Nicola Stroman of South Carolina; and his siblings, Glendia Jamison (Ralph) and Roger Paul of South Carolina. He is also survived by great great grandchildren, nieces, nephews.
Viewing was held on Saturday, February 15th 2025 from 12:00 PM to 6:00 PM and on Sunday, February 16th 2025 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the A. A. Dicks Funeral Home (6400 N Main St, Columbia, SC 29203). A funeral service was held on Sunday, February 16th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the Friendship Baptist Church (1237 House St, Columbia, SC 29204).
