He was predeceased by: his parents, John M. Brennan and Elizabeth Thomas Brennan; and his brothers-in-law, Tom Gibson and Edward Harrell. He is survived by: his wife Judy Montgomery Brennan; his children, Kathryn Bostrom (Jamie) of Lexington, Anne Brennan of Charleston and John "Jay" Brennan (McCall) of Columbia; his grandchildren, Drew Bostrom of Lexington, Baker and Anna Scott Brennan of Columbia; his sister Mary Jo Gibson of Houston; his siblings-in-law, Dr. Lucius, Mary Wates and Esther Harrell of Kingstree; and his close friend Dave Etu.
